This gorgeous, oversized open tote is perfect for a retreat bag, weekend bag, a day at the beach bag, a big market run bag or a picnic in the park bag. It will fit all your fabric, batting and notions for a project, it will fit a picnic quilt and the picnic, it will fit your snorkling gear and you towel and sunhat, it will fit all of your toys for a fun day in the sun. Open at the top for easy loading and unloading, the bag has two outside pockets (one long enough for 24" ruler to stand up in), shoulder straps, bias binding on the bottom inside seams and a sturdy bottom.

Difficulty - Basic Sewing Skills (you can thread and operate a sewing machine) and are at least 14 years old

Supply List - The workshop includes the pattern, 3 yards of neutral webbing, and Pellon Peltex for the bottom of the bag. You will get a detailed reminder email about a week or two before the class but you should plan on bringing 1 1/3 yards of fabric for the bag, bias tape, coordinating thread, and your sewing kit. We recommend a medium to lightweight canvas, denim, or Essex style linen/cotton blend. 

We are capping the class at 6 participants. If we have less than 2 participants, we will cancel the class and refund your full purchase price. Otherwise, workshops are non-refundable. If you cancel with at least a week's notice, we will give you a store credit. If you find you can't make it, with less than one week's notice, you are welcome to send someone in your place.
