You'll have the perfect Easter gift and a new stitching skills with this workshop. Make this wonderful stuffed bunny in time for Easter weekend. You'll learn to use our disolving pattern sheets, then you'll embroider his face and bouquet of flowers, learning several stitches and techniques. Then you'll learn to assemble and stuff your delightful little friend so he is all ready for your loved one.

Who should take this class - People who love cute things. Also, confident beginners or more experienced sewists who want to learn some new stitching techniques. 

Timing - We have two sessions of 3 hours each. (You may have a little bit of homework between the two sessions to complete the embroidery if you're a beginner.)

What's included - We'll provide the embroidery pattern, printed on Wonderfil "Rinse Away" and a kit with materials.  Your kit will include four colours of DMC embroidery floss on a spool, enough Essex cotton/linen blend fabric to make the bunny (in Natural, with cute pink ears), and stuffing. 

Please plan to bring - You will get a detailed email a couple of weeks before the class but please be prepared to bring

  • an embroidery needle and a hand sewing needle, sewing thread (polyester is preferred)
  • 10" Hoop
  • your sewing kit, including small scissors or snips for cutting thread and fabric scissors, your favourite marking tool (chalk pencil, tailor's chalk etc.) and a note book.

NOTE - we are capping the class at 6 participants. If we have less than 3 participants, we will cancel the class and refund your full purchase price. Otherwise, workshops are non-refundable. If you cancel with at least a week's notice, we will give you a store credit. If you find you can't make it, with less than one week's notice, you are welcome to send someone in your place.
